Watched The First Thirty Minutes

This documentary on Milton Glaser on Netflix Watch Instantly is great.  I regret not making it to his lecture at CCA recently.

Just thought I'd just check in on this blog.  Drawings on the way.

*update 3-22-11: The whole documentary was great. Glaser is such an interesting person to listen to, and his work communicates so clearly with such craft and beauty.

Another Medium

While I'm getting back into drawing (no painting yet), I'm also teaching myself to see what's around me by carrying a camera around as often as I can.  It has taught me to be more observant of things that I wouldn't normally sit down and sketch.

Here is the latest edit of a series that I took in Richmond, CA.  I removed one more photo after tonight's critique and feel it is a little stronger.  Thanks to those who gave some input.  I had a lot of fun making these images.
